Crossfit has definitely changed my life, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. I can open my own jars and move furniture all by myself. And it only takes one trip to bring all the groceries in the house from the car when it use to take 4 or more. Crossfit has taught me that no matter how hard something might be, I can do it. I can do anything. I hope that my family members embrace it the way that I have seen everyone else embrace it.

I think the Republican-American newspaper nailed it with “You never get bored. It never gets easy.” Though I would probably add “smart”, “effective” and “strangely addictive” to it. The best advice I can give is to simply give it a month – then you will understand. I can not say enough good things about Crossfit Watertown. You will be hard pressed to find a trainer as knowledgeable, enthusiastic and genuinely invested in her clients as much as Lisbeth is. She might even be a little crazy (in a good way.) Equally amazing are the clientele – everyone is friendly, personable and there is never any judgment, only encouragement. It is a privilege to be involved with Crossfit Watertown. I look forward to every class, even if I can’t walk right for a couple days after!

With Crossfit, there is no wandering aroung a giant gym, headphones plugged in, trying to figure out what you are going to do that day. The whiteboard tells you the workout of the day, the trainers push you harder than you have ever been pushed, and you share the same workout experience with a group of people from all walks of life. Crossfit Watertown has become a second home for us, a comfortable environment where everyone knows your name and with whom you share blood, tears, laughter, and sweat….well maybe just the last two…most of the time.

I wish I would have found Crossfit sooner. I look back at all the time I spent at my old gym, with minimal improvement and long hours. In just a short time doing Crossfit, I have seen huge improvements in strength and endurance. The workouts are more intense, much shorter, and more fun. I look at all those people still working out at their local globo gym and feel sorry for them.

Swam a workout today, first time since I started Crossfitting. I am faster than I was 3 years ago when I stopped swimming! I can’t believe how good I felt in the water and how much more strength I had in my pull. Yay Crossfit!!!!

I miss the gym and Crossfit. It’s the only productive and enjoyable gym experience that I’ve ever had. That’s due to your enthusiasm and all the great crossfitters at the gym.
