Matt, during the hardest part of the CrossFit Hour for him: the after-WOD stretching.
Take a look at Matt’s time for “Run, Karen, Run” — and factor in that he had to run the hallways and stairs each time to get to the start of that 400m run. Nice work, Matt!
Also notice that lots of people didn’t write down their names and times on the whiteboard. What’s up with that? Let’s go, people! CrossFit is observable, measurable, and repeatable. Observable means that other people are watching! Measurable means that you keep data! Repeatable means we do it again at some point!
It doesn’t matter if you scaled the WOD, or you’re shy, or you don’t know how to write your name — put your data on the board! Make your mark. Stand up and say: “This is what I did today.” Tomorrow may never come. Tell us what you did today. Let the world know that Kilroy was here. And that Kilroy is going to kick some a** tomorrow.

WOW! Great picture!
Matt… as always, you killed it last night.

Aww man! That looked like a fun one! Now that it’s getting warm out, there’s more running in store for everyone, right?

Matt… your a beast! At least I know I’ll always be able to kick your a$$ stretching.
Dear CFW Lending Library,
I know I have kept Every Second Counts past the due date. I promise to return it promptly and pay the late fees with burpees.

It played like this: 1st round Matt is out the door at least 15 WB shots before anyone else. Jen looks at us, smiles, and goes “dontcha just hate him”.
Yup.
Homey flew through that workout. Nicely done!
Fun WOD though. That combo made my chest collapse starting those runs. Oy.
And yeah, stretching afterward… ouch.

Damn Matt that was fast. I was 15.24 @ 20# and I’m really disappointed for not writing this down because the last couple weeks I’ve been modifying so much that it’s not even close to the original workout when I’m done. I was excited to see a WOD I could complete as Rxed
The first 50 WB went great but I was gassed during the first run and by the second run I was very close to throwing up in that body of water. Before we started my hope was to finish in 12 minutes but those 2 runs make Karen significantly harder.

It’s official, Matt HAS to represent the CFW Men at next year’s New England Regional. He has missed huge chunks of time, I think, and still kills these WODs. I think we have some others that could make some noise, too.

The people have spoken.

Yes, Barry, you are in too!

I feel I am an excellent cheerer-on/beer drinker/tent thing setter-upper at these events. So yeah, Matt and Barry, I got your backs (yo)! I even have 2 folding chairs I can bring. One for me, but the second one you two are welcome to sit on.
Good times 2011!

Please note that on Sunday Matt didn’t complain about Saturday’s workout, he complained that he hurt his back stretching afterwards. He doesn’t mind a nasty workout, but he will do anything to get out of the post-wod stretch sesh! What’s up with that?
