Concentration: Cheryl and Tooner. It’s a must if you want to do anything well.
Cheryl is fantastic at listening. It sounds silly, but she’s an eager learner and we LOVE that. When a CrossFit Watertown coach talks to Cheryl, you can see her focus on that instruction and try to implement that in her movement. She has to concentrate on making her body do what she understands and so wants to do.
Tooner has the ability to make his body do what his brain tells it to do. That’s an athlete’s gift. For Tooner, the challenge is to get his mind to listen and accept the instruction. A different issue than Cheryl’s, but so critical too.
Nobody has it easy. We ALL have things to work on. But we’re here and we’re working on ‘em. It’s Monday — let’s get started!
SCHEDULE ALERT: We’re headed out to the annual CrossFit Affiliate Gathering (in Miami Beach — don’t hate us because we’re warm) this weekend, so the Friday noon class is canceled. All other classes will continue as scheduled. Thanks.
