Welcome to Tyler, one of our newest members at CrossFit Watertown!
When I was a kid, my mom used to say, “You never get a second chance to make a good first impression.” It’s a stupid saying, but it’s true. So, if you see Tyler or Steve or another new member around, stop your warm-up or your cool-down or whatever and say Hi. If nothing else, it at least proves that you’re not a TFDB.
Oh — and watch out, ’cause Tyler is bringing the INTENSITY! He’s going hard, he’s going fast, and he’s not messing around. We’re all going to need to pick up our game to hang with him!
In other news, check out this post from CrossFit Auckland about gym and housekeeping rules that need to be followed. (#6 doesn’t really translate to our class system, but I do like the line about the snowflake.) If everybody does their part to take care of the equipment and pay attention to the coaches, this place rocks even more! Thanks!

Erin…great job last night. It was a classic CrossFit moment. Watching you push through that WOD was inspriational. You hung in there and won the battle of will over mind! Way to go woman!

No kidding, Sue. Thanks for mentioning that. I’m proud of Erin for the way she buckled down and kept at that WOD until she was done. It wasn’t easy but it was really important to do that. Way to go, Erin, way to go.

Everyone has been asking me “Is there a link to Zen planner on the CFW site?” Yes, on the right under the Crossfit Kids link. Thanks Nate!

TFDB? Is that an acronym I should be familiar with?

I stumped Beery. I’m not sure if I’ve had a prouder moment in my life. Bringing human beings into this world ranks a distant second now.

LOL Sue knows everything . . .

haha, I didn’t know that one either.

I was able to deduce that based on my rock-solid algorithm for solving unknown acronyms. It goes as follows:
1) Assume any appearance of the letter “F” stands for some version of F@#$.
2) Any letter preceding “F” will be hyperbole describing the degree to which the succeeding noun F@#$s or is F@#$ing.
3) Deduce remaining letters from acronym’s sentence context.
4) BYU (<— Anybody?)
