Rich, getting ready to grab the wall-ball coming down.
On this Veterans Day, we’d like to say thanks to veterans (like Rich!) and active-duty military (like Derek!) for their service to our great nation. Your sacrifice and dedication to duty are much appreciated.
Big News: We’re hosting a Concept2 Rowing Seminar on April 24th with Jon Gilson of Again Faster! He’s one of the top trainers for CFHQ and he’s coming here. Mark your calendars.

My father was in military for 28 years. A thanks to everyone who serves or has served. Also to their families who share in their sacrifice.
The CFT was rough this morning after hitting the WOD last night. Make sure you guys show up as early as possible and get a proper warm-up.
Wishing everyone a PR day today. Tooner out.

Thank you to all the vets and active-service men and women! Special thanks to Lis, Derek, Rich, Rockstar and her son!
We owe you everything!
See everyone for the TOTAL tonight!

Nate- The pictures you posted were funny. Im not sure why I was taking a rest during my blue man concert though! I must have been tired?
P.S. – In my job, they teach us a technique called the “blood choke”. I look forward to seeing you at 6pm tonight so that we can practice this technique and get better.
But seriously, Lis and Rich- Thank you for your selfless service to our country. Because of your sacrifice, the rest of us can live safe.

Indeed, a big thanks to all our military folks out there!
@D – All I ask is you make it quick and painless. I have made my peace and said my good-byes.
I have had that photo on my desktop ever since Lis posted it on Facebook – it was destined for some sort madness. It was too perfect (except for the whole part of the photo being of someone who can crush me like a bug)!
My personal favorite is “Trench Run, 1977“. Word on the street is Big D used to bull’s-eye womp rats in his T-16 back home.

I’m adding Big D’s response to Nate to my list of fave CFW moments.
To those who serve and those who have served our country: thank you.

Nate- I also remember that day on the race track. The enemy was surrounding us when you snapped that photo, but we were too fast for them, and out-performed.

Happy Veterans day to Derek, Rich and Lis. To all those men and women who serve, and have served, and especially, on this day, to those crossfit members who recently gave their lives at Fort Hood. Thank you for all your commitment, devotion, and sacrifice.

You need to go to Gravatar.com and upload a photo. Otherwise, you’ll continue to get the random monster. Although it kind of looks good on you, Jason.
