Some people among us have an eye for detail. They’re a bit quieter and often much more observant than the madcap rest of us, prancing and braying and stomping our way through life. When the world is in a spin, these folks can still focus. And that’s Mikey (in this photo) and Alex (who shot the photo).
Mikey finishes every WOD with the same form he started with. Finishes. Who the heck can do that? At the end of “Fran on Crack”, Mikey’s thrusters are as smooth, powerful, and explosive as when he started. Our hats are off to you Mikey, and not just because you’re wielding that sledgehammer and we’re a little scared of you right now.
And Alex. Well, if you can’t fall in love with sweet, funny Alex, then there’s something wrong with you. We’ve loved having him here again this summer and only wish he could be here year-round. Fortunately / Unfortunately I’ll be on vacation in Portugal & London from the 15th – 27th…I need to try to send out an email to CF London but I’m hoping that I’ll be able to join their crowd for fgb iv (assuming they’re joining the festivities)
