Jill, from the great gang over at Cynergy CrossFit in MA, joined us for Melissa’s 8am Saturday Sweatshop! Jill was awesome and we wish she could join us everyday!
We’ve got a ton of great photos from today (including RayRay running with Toto) and other days, so look for a variety of stuff to be released on the Lisbeth Darsh Facebook page over the weekend.
In other news, we’re holding a special Sunday WOD at the Taft Track in Watertown at 10am tomorrow. We’re going to do “Griff” and run backwards on the track. Really. (To find us, just pull into the parking lot on Guernseytown Road and head to the back left, behind the buildings.)
It’s beautiful summer weekend so get outside and enjoy life!

So I don’t know if you guys are still on that whole posting diets to comments thing but i got a god one for you,I’ve been eating clean all summer and this is how I start my days, it’s called the Tanner Cook Primarily Paleo breakfast, starts with a bowl of oatmeal (only relatively decent food to get carbs from) mixed with protein powder, 4 strips of bacon OR 5 oz. of steak or chicken, bowl of either spinach or broccoli, glass of whole milk mixed with raw egg, another glass of whole milk, and 2 fish oil tablets, that has been my breakfast all summer, it seems to work pretty well for me, and aside from the oatmeal, protein powder, and milk its all Paleo friendly, give it a shot if you want and see if it works for you.

I must admit during todays WOD, I was very tempted to curl up into fetal position and start crying…that shit was brutal! Thanks Melissa for that hard core ass kicking….will be thinking about you tomorrow and not nice thoughts.

I have no idea how you all can get up pre-8-am on a Saturday!
Otherwise, I am out for Griff tomorrow and in for putting some fat tires on the dirt.
Unless it rains, then I will be there.
Have fun!

Looking forward to running backwards with you all tomorrow. Sorry i missed today. I had Krava Maga at 10 this morning. I would have done both but no baby sitter until 9:30.

how did griff go?? I am so excited that the photo i took ended up on the blog! Barry and I started off on our hike only to have the heavens open up upon us — we got back pretty fast!
Jill – it was great to meet you!
Tanner – if I ate that much I would vomit rainbows! How did eighth grade graduation go?

hope you guys had fun @ the track!

Griff was actually fun, in a horrible way. I complained almost the entire time and then was happy afterwards?
August 2nd, 2009 at 12:29 pm
I like the Psycho Mike name. But then what do I know, I hang out with the Head Injury crowd . . .
August 2nd, 2009 at 1:09 pm
Lis.. you also complained a little after you finished too. Just wanted to make sure we keep the facts straight.
Nice work everyone on Griff. See you all during the week some time.
August 2nd, 2009 at 1:25 pm
Complaining is a hobby. Or maybe a skill. Definitely not one of my weaknesses.

Becky, Eat meat and rest! Griff was fun in that sick I can’t believe I’m doing this way.

Sorry I missed you guys at the track today…I was actually looking forward to doing Griff with Jackson in the jogging stroller! No umbrella on that thing though…didnt want child services knocking on my door, so we took it inside for the workout. I tackled JT and I am now having difficulty carrying my 10month old linebacker.

Melissa I wish I could feel sorry for you, but my gluts have been cursing you all day
