It was a medicine ball warm-up for the Friday night gang, but this photo reveals a few things:
Jackie was doing kung fu instead.
Barry was holding the lightest ball we have.
RayRay looks like a Mafia don.
Vivi was the only one really doing work?
In other news, head over to the Facebook page for discussion on t-shirts, the casino trip, the new space, and, heck, we might even have a video up today or at least a slideshow of the outdoor medicine ball photos.
Reminder: 8am WOD tomorrow, followed by breakfast at Leo’s in Middlebury.

I’m up for the casino trip and am happy to help with planning, etc if you need it, but I didn’t see the info on the beeyotches’ Facebook page just now . . . is this like the time when I was five and my friends said “head over to the playground and we’ll meet you there” but never showed up?

Heading over there now to add some stuff.

“Becky TM” — it always looks like you trademarked your name, not just your initials.
Anyhow, the eating habits of the M couple continue to befuddle me . . .

i realized if i used my last name my students may be able to find out something about my life outside of school. i prefer they think i live at trumbull and have no friends or hobbies.
and for the record – i have been eating much better – i would say 75% of my meals are clean
and hey that is a huge improvement for me

Thanks for all the support gang! I have to say I’m pretty psyched with the way things went today….I ran the first 2.5 pretty hard and then I hit “the hill”. The next 1.5 was a gradual incline the whole way!!! Killer! By the last mile I had 11 minutes left to keep it under an hour….I kicked ass the last mile (it was all down hill). In the end, I got in under an hour and averaged 11:30 minute miles. For me…that’s a big success! I still can’t believe I did it….althought it was a physical challenge, for me the rewards were all mental. It was a good day. These are the times when I think, “CrossFit has completely changed my life”. To be able to work out so hard with such amazing people is such a gift. Its given me the ability to do things I never thought possible. Yeah, it was a good day.

WAY TO GO, SUE!
We’re all so proud of you!
And, Becky, I’m proud of you too! Now, time to take a break from working out for a day or two and let your body rest and rebuild.
(And I totally understand about the last name. It’s why I generally don’t use last names at all in the blog postings. I mean, everybody can find me but that’s the lumps that come with being a legend in my own mind.)

@Sue- No way! Under an hour? That’s so awesome! Major congrats are in order!!! *high five*
@Becky TMâ„¢- We all know that teachers don’t have lives outside of the classroom. That’s just a fact.

I would have thought she would TM “Becky the Shanker” — like it was a cartoon character, or maybe an action figure. Perhaps a prison action figure?

Sue-You are amazing and there is so much more ahead of you to accomplish.

You rock Sue. I already wrote to you on FB.
Chris, we got identical times today for the DL/running workout. I went with 185 though. I think if I added even 10 more pounds my form would have been horrific. Great workout though…I imagine this is one of your favs in addition to the DL/Burpee workout?

You deserve a breakfast at Tiffanie’s
