Our new biz card, because it’s the truth. No gym workout even comes close to the experiences at a CrossFit affiliate. Sweat, work, fun, and a whole bunch of very different and yet very like-minded souls. Work, laugh, maybe even cry. Rinse and repeat. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Update: We’re headed out of town, so just a short blog post today, none tomorrow, but hoping to have the CFT video done for Sunday.
Kirk and Melissa will run all classes until Monday. And today’s Clean-and-Jerk ladder is a kicker! Enjoy!

I’ve been looking forward to trying this WOD for a long time, though I won’t get past minute 2 if I attempt this one RX’ed. I’m thinking 115 should be a good challenge.

I’ll be at the 5 pm class. Might be a very short WOD today vs the 61 minutes I spent in the abusement park yesterday with Eva.

@greg: “abusement park” LOL
I scaled to 75lb and only made it 6 rounds. I’m fairly certain my pedal to the metal pacing theory Is AFU for this one.
But at least it’s not Eva!

@Chris, I’m thinking the same thing…115 might work. I might add some of the fractional plates to make it 115 1/2. See you all tonight!

@Chris, I agree with your thinking but maybe it’s time I started pushing myself. I think I’ll try this one Rx
See youall at 5

Oh, right. There’s 5:00 classes on Fridays now, huh? That’s awesome. I’ll be there!

@Kirk 115 1/2 – I like the way you think.
@Rich RX’ed to push yourself – I like the way you think.
Now what the f am I going to do?

I want to do this one RX’ed as much as the next guy, but I know exactly how these ladder workouts go. It takes its toll but quick!
Plus, with 135 lbs being so close to my max, I just feel like I wouldn’t get a lot out of 2 or 3 rounds, which is as far as I’d get.

Abusement Park might be an understatement – I feel like im getting slower as the day goes on
Good luck with the Clean & Jerk ladder tonight.
Also I would like to appologize to anyone who gets sick, Its probably my fault, I thought I was ok but today Im realizing that I was just lieing to myself

See you all Sat. am…

@ Sue – Are you kidding? Melissa is going to be running the Sat. morning workout. That means MetCon from hell. No thanks. I’m taking tomorrow off.
Tonight’s WOD was great. Me likey.

Greg, you know us too well. This morning’s metcon had a nice Fight Gone Bad theme, but longer than the regular FGB. It floored me pretty good, and everyone else. After two straight days with no Sue, I’m officially getting worried.
