Another cool thing is the CFW members willingly filling the fridge with chocolate milk for everybody to drink – and checking on each other to make sure everybody’s okay. When’s the last time you saw something like that at a globo-gym? (Thanks Rich and Caitlin!)
And, you just have to love a CFW member who slaps a Marine license plate frame on their Mercedes. Very cool.
But, also, you’re likely to hear things at a CrossFit gym that might not sound exactly right. So, we’d like to present the first installment of . . .
Overheard at CrossFit Watertown
- Before jumping: I think my box is in the wrong place.
- On a stubborn barbell and rubber bumpers: Why are they so hard to get off?
- On the importance of using the hip properly: It’s a really big joint and it will bring you up.
- On making sure the bar is close to the legs during the deadlift: I always touch myself.
