Sue, Your story is very powerful, thanks very much for sharing it via the CF Journal. Your efforts are a powerful testimony to how much we can all do for ourselves if we don’t give up. Tip of the hat to you for making it happen, Paul

Thank you so much. Just read your article, you are so inspiring. At 48, 60 pounds too much and with a history as a frequent drop out of “regular gyms,” I thought I was the only one. My first visit to a Crossfit gym was amazing. It was a home garage, no mirrors or cute workout suits and it was full with 3 moms and lots of wee kids all wearing pink coats. No one was gonna be watching fat me! They were too busy making sure they got a work out in while also not stepping on a kid. (the kids are actually quite well behaved)
Just two months ago, the basic warmup routine was more work out than I could manage. Already, I’m seeing gains and doing things I’d thought were impossible for my size and age. And parts of the warmup are still more like a workout than I’d like but it isn’t all I’m doing per day now.
